The first image is one I posted a couple of days ago in which I started to clone out the power lines and pylons. However, due to having the attention span and patience of a toddler, I couldn’t be bothered. A friend pointed out the new ‘find distractions’ function in Photoshop beta. Literally, one click and they were gone. Mind blown!

Photoshop Beta präsentiert neue KI Funktionen, auch Lightroom integriert immer mehr dieser Funktion. Fluch oder Segen? Ich nutze diese Funktionen, nicht alle, aber doch einige für Retusche. In der Reisefotografie hat man oft nur einen Moment und nicht immer den perfekten Bildaufbau.

AI background workflow:
1 is the finished scene. 2-4 are the MJ images. PS Beta AI expands 2, enhance details, add foreground, characters and props. Add edited 3-4. Enhance lighting and shadow effects. Right side is reserved for the main character.

Photoshop Beta: Generatives Erweitern statt „Tricksen“ mit Generativer Füllung.
Adobe macht das Reparieren ungünstig abgeschnittener Fotos einfacher. Bislang war es notwendig, vorab die Arbeitsfläche zu erweitern. Danach konnten die zusätzlichen Flächen mit der generativen Füllung ergänzt werden.
Mit der neuesten Beta-Version geht das viel schneller, da die Funktion jetzt Teil des Zuschneiden-Werkzeugs ist.

Links ein Foto vom Botanischen Garten, bei dem oben eine Palme und unten der Blumenkübel abgeschnitten ist. Das Zuschneiden-Werkzeug hat die Ziel-Fläche bereits erweitert.
Rechts das stimmig wirkende Ergebnis. Photoshop hat auch den perspektivisch dargestellten Gartenweg sinnvoll ergänzt.

I hesitate to post this. Because I saw a utube vid i’ve been fooling around with creating an oil painting version using Generative AI in Photoshop Beta.
The new generative AI is not the first way of doing this in PS. There's been ways of doing this for a long time. And I’m not sure I even like this.

I do have thoughts on this new AI. For the most part i’ve only used to to remove distractions and people. Not adding stuff.
