I have the Guinness but starting with the Dark Matter stout...I let you know in 10 day s or so....

Are you absolutely kidding me? #Pinter (a homebrew beer system, kind of like SodaStream for beer) now has an exclusive #IronMaiden package with a Trooper-branded machine and an Iron Maiden "British Beer".

I am so tempted, but I honestly think it would end up getting about as much use as our SodaStream, which definitely does not make it worth the money.

Sitting in the kitchen drinking coffee, scrolling through Mastodon, working up the energy to do garage stuff… wait, what's that noise? Sounds like a sudden water leak, but muffled… 😱

Oh. Seems like the Pinter brew I started yesterday might be a bit lively, and it's pushed liquid out of the pressure control valve. It's all wrapped in a bin bag, so no external mess, just hope I haven't lost too much.

Couldn't resist a little midweek tipple, cracking open the latest homebrew: the creatively-named Lager from George's Beer, which just happens to be almost exactly the right volume kit to brew in a Pinter.

Looks like lager, tastes like lager. Not particularly exciting, but I'll take it. ~4.7%, if the iSpindel is to be believed, so safe enough for a school night.

Home brewed beer with a frothy head in a tulip glass on a kitchen worktop.

Making good use of some of the time between decent breakfast and going for a run to get the latest brew kegged/bottled.

~10 pints of Mango Jack's Belgian Tripel from my Pinter 3. Since I had to split the pack in three, having a little experiment: this batch has no hops; second (currently fermenting) had half the included hops added at the start; next will have the hops added partway through, as per the recipe. (With a Pinter, that could get messy, but we'll see.)
