Spent most of last night in the ER with K learning about the vermillion border of the lips and getting them some stitches.
I'm very thankful that we live in an area with a children's ER. I'm also very thankful for the local bakery and iced coffee. Being up until 4:30am definitely calls for some caffeine.

I had my 1st checkup after I began Wegovy on 10.28, and this morning I just got my 4th dose. Per my weigh-in at my appointment, I've lost 8lbs, and I am beyond the moon. I'll also be going up to the 0.5mg dose starting next week.

My important discovery making emergency coffee today. If I save some of my double brew coffee overnight in the fridge I can make passable coffee in the morning.

Fill 2/3 mug with the coffee. Microwave at 5(50 % power) for 1.45 minutes. Have electric kettle heating up at same time. Fill remaining space in this mug with boiled water.

It works out and is not bitter. It has to work out because I have only an hour to compile and complete a table for payroll hours. No time to waste but it would not happen at all if I didn’t have my fuel. I’m an addict. Oh #Caffeine #Coffee #GoodMorning #Today
