Sometimes the solution to a problem is really simple...
I have fixed my ABS bed adhesion problems by lowering the printing temp five degrees. (265 to 260)
My bed barely gets hot enough for ABS, topping out at 101-102 (any hotter and hardware safeties seem to kick in) so I was worried I was just always going to have adhesion issues when not using adhesives, but it turns out I just needed to cut down on shrinkage the tiniest amount and its printing fine.
These parts aren't super structural (just supporting themselves and a sheet of pet for an enclosure), and this temp is still above the point where I start having layer adhesion issues, so hopefully this will work.
