A highlight of the conference for me was from Nicole Jardine and Dan Snow from the Cook County Assessor's Office on using #rstats tidymodels to help allocate $16B in property taxes. It was amazing to get a peek into their model development process and learn about all of the factors they keep in mind along the way. (I do owe them a couple features in our packages.π)
