@BWPanda @privacytests privacy issue: partially yes, depending on point of view. While it does not allow to track and distinguish particular users, it can leak info that user uses Brave browser. In general, almost every browser reports this info in user agent, however, the Brave uses generic Chrome user agent.
Should it be listed in #privacytests? Probably yes. IMHO yandex clid is worth to consider, because it leaks info that user uses Brave browser AND Yandex is a default search engine.
I am wondering how many people are in this group - I did not find any official stats. Brave browser has almost 24M daily users (64M monthly users, see https://brave.com/transparency/ ). Yandex global market share is approx 2%, depending on the source, for Brave users it can be different number. So we can speak about a group of 0.5M daily users only. Putting this info together with the IP address, country, timezone, language settings, etc., we can tell that the particular user belongs even to the much smaller group of users.
