A puffin chick, called a "puffling," ventures out of its burrow. 🩶 🤍 🖤 As an adult, it will develop an adult's wide, colorful beak and smooth, bright black-and-white feathers, but for the moment, it is still sporting fuzzy grey down and is barely identifiable as a puffin.
