..that frustration when you chase the bug in the code for 2 days and there is no light at the end of the tunnel at all. #pyats #python
#genie and #abstraction, Lookup class in particular is a concept which I'm trying to understand now. It would be nice to have a video with explanation how it works though but I guess I better start reading and stop browsing #yt trying to find such a video footage :-).
having night fun with #pyats and #deadline tomorrow. Had 2 days to master #pyats and write
reasonable code to cover few #testcases. I think I'm going to fail this challenge tomorrow.
Today is officially the last day at NSCON for me. After almost 13 years I decided to leave the company I was Co-Founder because of personal reasons. 👋
Many thanks to all employees, colleagues, partners, and customers who worked together with me during the past years. I‘m very thankful for all the support and the great projects we accomplished together as a team. 🤝
Now I‘m looking for a new challenge in the area of IT Networking with focus on Network Programmability and Automation! 🤓

I have started the LinkedIn Learning course NetOps (DevOps for Network Engineers): Automating Networks by Eric Chou. Needless to say that it is a great course and I can highly recommended.
I have quickly found a really good statement to share and this should be a common approach in every company not limited to NetOps or DevOps departments:
"Activate participation with high trust on individuals especially implement a blameless culture."
Now let's replicate the lab setup and get hands-on!

Going through the #GitLab CI/CD pipeline build again on the weekend. I will document all steps, bring it into blog posts, and share with the community then, but a lot of work to be done. 😓 #Docker #Terraform #Ansible #pyATS
Finally! It was a process until I was there touching various topics, but a good exercise for the #DevNet Expert lab preparation. Started with preparing the lab with #Terraform in Cisco Modeling Labs, creating a #Docker image from Dockerfile and uploading it to Docker Hub. Then building #Ansible playbooks for the configuration and validating with #pyATS testcases. As last developing a #Gitlab CI/CD pipeline to bring all together. Will share everything later this week.
Spending this afternoon with going through the CI/CD pipeline videos „Network Automation Simplified“ from NetGru and building my own setup with it. There will be covered several topics which are important for my #DevNet Expert lab exam preparation like #Gitlab #Docker #Ansible and #pyATS. Anybody else followed along the videos? #CCDevE #CiscoCert #CiscoChampion

We really need to increase the #NetEng community people and the engagement here. :ansible: :docker: :k8s: :python: :tux:

#Cisco #pyATS, #Ansible and Cisco Open NX-OS used in a Cisco CML environment for CI/CD Pipelines? This is what Infrastructure Automation - DEVNET-2117 will have for us at the #DevNet zone at #CiscoLive.
It seems that I scheduled a lot of #pyATS sessions for automated testing this year. During "Building your Certification Test Suites using pyATS - DEVNET-2744 " we'll deep dive into how to build your own reusable certification test suite using Cisco pyATS. #DevNet #CiscoLiveEMEA
What an awesome 4-hour instructor-led lab session blast about automated testing for your network. I can highly recommend to get your hands dirty with the #PyATS framework.
