#pyats is becoming my new nightmare. The only thing which keeps me sane is that it's all #python. Finishing up the testing now, pushing the code is the 2nd step and raising a #PR is my last step today before I get to the painting of our living room.

This is one of "those" days when I can't focus on anything. Doom scrolling on #facebook is not helping either. #pyats is not working as it should ... and that is a problem, problem with my code.

Continuing with my #pyats journey. #IPSLA on #IOSXR is on today's todo list.

Working on #pyats testcases for #Cisco devices and #NSO services deployment. Pretty complex task considering the fact that client did not have balls to explain what those services are supposed to be doing.

#pyats is pretty darn written framework :). Thanks #cisco !

#genie and #abstraction, Lookup class in particular is a concept which I'm trying to understand now. It would be nice to have a video with explanation how it works though but I guess I better start reading and stop browsing #yt trying to find such a video footage :-).

having night fun with #pyats and #deadline tomorrow. Had 2 days to master #pyats and write
reasonable code to cover few #testcases. I think I'm going to fail this challenge tomorrow.

Getting my hands dirty with #pyATS .. finally something meaningful to work on. I was getting sick and tired doing copy and paste from #terminal to text editor.

Today is officially the last day at NSCON for me. After almost 13 years I decided to leave the company I was Co-Founder because of personal reasons. 👋

I have started the LinkedIn Learning course NetOps (DevOps for Network Engineers): Automating Networks by Eric Chou. Needless to say that it is a great course and I can highly recommended.

I have quickly found a really good statement to share and this should be a common approach in every company not limited to NetOps or DevOps departments:

"Activate participation with high trust on individuals especially implement a blameless culture."

Now let's replicate the lab setup and get hands-on!

Finally! It was a process until I was there touching various topics, but a good exercise for the #DevNet Expert lab preparation. Started with preparing the lab with #Terraform in Cisco Modeling Labs, creating a #Docker image from Dockerfile and uploading it to Docker Hub. Then building #Ansible playbooks for the configuration and validating with #pyATS testcases. As last developing a #Gitlab CI/CD pipeline to bring all together. Will share everything later this week.
