Skimmed the talks for #PyOhio, and there’s a lot of neat stuff there!
I do have a question for Python folks, though - is pip dead? Has the ratification of pyproject.toml resulted in all these alternatives?
It seems to me that having a proliferation of tools that do the same thing is’t great. Go had this situation, and while I don’t like go modules, I think it’s nice to have a common dependency manager.
At least pyproject.toml’s a common format so that you’re not stranded on a dep tool.

A second computer screen has now given up the ghost while working on #PyOhio stuff. The first was in late 2023 in the throes of getting the video ready to stream, and its replacement went today while I helped with talk selection. Super frustrating, and the high-DPI, Mac-friendly monitor space seems as starved for options as it did almost two years ago. Sigh…

As a tried and true procrastinator I understand the temptation to wait, but make sure you submit with enough time to address unexpected tech issues!
And if you're busy writing your talk submission for #PyOhio, you should absolutely make sure you're checking in on the awesome @NorthBayPython conference and #nbpy tag, the conversation is amazing!
