#QLDElection

#Insiders #DavidSpeers I gave up watching when you took over. I witnessed your style and demeanour and did not like it. I was unimpressed with your gotcha questioning and severe interruption. I caught your interview with #CameronDick this morning post #QldElection and see you're still interrupting.

So, whoopee-do. Queensland gives us the inevitable result in a parliamentary ping-pong when choices are limited. Why is it that Australians can only count to two? No Greens or Independents and a right-wing minor party gets up. What a shambles. It's time for third-choice activists to light their torches.

No more political ads. It's the last day of the Queensland state election and I won't have to look at those ugly attack ads anymore.

Pundits are predicting more Green and Independent seats in tomorrow's voting. Indy's of the world unite!

I voted for neither major party. Politics is broken. We need a future independent of contaminated party politics.

made a plan (the Qld Energy and Jobs Plan) for a better, cleaner future.
And even since September 2022, generation has outpaced those plans!
Such massive changes don't happen overnight, but they do happen! And they are.

My wish for the coming Queensland election is to see a tsunami of independents flooding the crossbench. Let whatever side 'wins' have to negotiate with people who genuinely represent their constituents without the contamination of 'special interests.' Let them have to negotiate for everything. Let this be the start of a grand new experiment in democracy.

Why am I getting LNP election pitches in my email? I've never gotten them before. How do they get my email address? I've never voted for them. Ever. This makes me angry.

Queensland's proposed free school lunch program has sparked debate, but what does the data say?

If you read my posts on Sunday - you already know.

My new blog post examines the potential economic benefits of this initiative, including improved health, academic performance, and local economic growth.

I had a dream last night. It was a glorious dream. No one voted for Labor or the Coalition in the Qld or Federal elections. The whole parliament was full of Independents. It was glorious chaos that fixed everything.

So, it’s political season again, and here in Queensland we made the rather foolhardy decision to run our State election roughly a month or so away from the US Federal election.

Foolhardy because the media is too busy guffawing over the allegation of cats and dogs being “eaten” in a debate for an election that people like myself have no say over (and should not have any say over), to properly […]

I'm sure Labor can turn around years of inaction on housing affordability in what, like 6 months!

LNP banner masquerading as an official instruction. Just can't help themselves.

So, this is how scare tactics work in modern electioneering. Plenty of money to spend on gimmicks, it seems.
