Many qc companies tapeout with skywater as part of a diverse breakfast. There’s gonna be a freak out over IP. Every time they tapeout they’re giving money to their direct competitor.
For ionq they want faster tapeouts for themselves, every qc company wants that. No way this transition doesn’t cause companies to stop using skyt. Ionq’s tapeout needs will be prioritized over other companies’.
