Using my #QuickLatch respirator and judicious #BreathHolding, I was able to get each liquid/food/texture sample for the #esophagram into me with minimal exposure to unfiltered air around me to do the testing.

And the #ElastomericRespirator DID NOT INTERFERE with the #xrays for the necessary #imaging.

Another important thing to know about this #3M #QuickLatch #ElastomericRespirator is that it is 100% metal free.

Lack of metal in my #respirator is important for my metal #allergies but also critically-important for #MedicalImaging.

I chose the #QuickLatch mask because I was having problems with both #dehydration and #BloodSugar management when using a mask that required complete doffing and donning to take a sip or toss a bite of food in my mouth.

The Quick Latch allows me to flip a latch to lower the mask pillow, allowing access to my nose and mouth. This can be done easily with a SINGLE hand.

My #Elastomeric #mask of choice is the 6501QL / 49488 Rugged comfort - quick latch half facepiece (small) by #3M. The numbers above may change slightly if you need a Medium or Large size, so the key words to look for is #QuickLatch.

And the #Brita #filterbottle DID seem very helpful. It was spill-safe at night, and easy to carry if I needed hydration elsewhere.

Paired with my 3M #quickLatch #ElastomericRespirator it was also easy to use for a quick sip on the go and minimal risk from contaminated air.

Cheering all around, yay! 🙂
