Sure, #elinks isn't built for the modern web, but it serves a purpose. I use #aerc for email, #senpai for irc, #iamb for matrix chat, #slrn for newsgroups and message boards, #ncspot for Spotify, #mpg123 for local media or online radio, and #rbw for my bitwarden client. I really don't need much else. It's not a machine I rely on for serious tasks, but it's covered most of my daily needs. Best of all, without a GUI, it's blazing fast!

I've been enjoying some time on #gopher and #gemini as well.

Oh, and, the best thing is, there is a #rofi plugin for it, and some further extensions to enable things like SSH key storage in #BitWarden! Pretty cool. #rbw https://github.com/doy/rbw

My biggest enemy today in #Rust is the fact, that i cannot implement/extend traits from another crate. So i wanted to use structs from the #rbw crate since i am piggy-backing on their logic, but since i need Debug on those, because i am writing a #Relm4 app, i am screwed. Or am i missing something?
I mean i could just use my own types based on the rbw ones, since they are not likely to change (the crate looks feature-complete), but meh, is there a better way?

Yay, tonight i skipped #aoc2023 in favor of getting my vault items decrypted via #rbw crate for my #BitWarden #VaultWarden mobile client. Now i think i know everything in regards to the libraries, so i can finally start with filling architecture gaps.

I tried to use the #rbw crate to connect to connect to my #VaultWarden instance. Seems i cannot even construct a client and login: Some #reqwest error with relative base url.

If i construct the reqwest client directly it works. Any ideas? I cannot upload the code right now, maybe later.

Yesterday at the #NixOS weekly meeting at @chaospott i was (re-)inroduced to #rbw (i had simply forgotten about it).
Its library does exactly what i was working on for the last 2 weeks for my bitwarden #gtk #LinuxMobile client.
Lazy as i am (and a fresh father with no time) i did not have to think twice: I will piggy back on rbw. Thanks in advance to the authors, it looked pretty slim and clean, yet feature-complete (?).

I just published a little #wofi menu for the unofficial #bitwarden CLI tool #rbw. It's <100 lines of bash, configurable, and hopefully useful. Only in the AUR for now, feel free to package it elsewhere. Check it out!
