Also not here for her trying to insinuate that we are all unhinged, shadily funded sexists.

This law won't protect the children. What it will do is break encryption to directly surveill EU citizens.

It will mean your private messages will be available to the "bad guys".

Back in August 1996 @ietf
 thought incredibly carefully about cryptography and the internet.

Even back then governments were trying to interfere with the internet with weak cryptography.  I love the RFC number.   Read each point. It's still very relevant all these years later.

Law Enforcement has been able to commit atrocities against civilians because they haven't been wearing body cams. Of course bodycams do raise issues about privacy especially with facial recognition.
