The forecast track for tropical depression nine continues to show it getting pulled east out to sea, away from the Carolinas on Tuesday; our rain chances as a result have dropped significantly for mid-week. Francine, the cat at the Richmond Lowe's, walked on to a truck headed to the distribution center in NC ten days ago. The news just got out, and the entire city is up in arms. I never got to meet her, but I can't sleep now for worrying. I hope she's okay. I wish we'd found out sooner. Not sure when the store realized. They checked cameras to see what happened.

Widespread showers this morning from just west of #RVA to northern Virginia but they are moving quickly and will clear out by mid-morning; most of the day should actually be dry, but a few additional showers/storms are possible early evening.
