Just finished another #audiobook by #AGRiddle. This time it's #QuantumRadio - a delicious #scifi story that evolves around with quantum physics, and going to really strange places kinda within the confines of our current world. Ish. If you're into scifi that doesn't necessarily take place in space, is low on lasers but rich on particle accelerators, this might be for you.
Oh yeah, the audiobook is read by the always amazing #RayPorter. It's available on #Audible.

Currently listening to Project Hail Mary [2021] by Andy Weir, read by Ray Porter. SciFi and world's end and it's an intimate play, one of the best I got to know I would tend to say.

Just finished listening to the #FromBeyond trilogy by #JasperTScott and #NathanHystad. Excellent secret agency #space #scifi with a touch of #IndianaJones and #Aliens. The fact that it's read by the legendary #RayPorter just makes it more awesome. Give it a go, if you're into that sort of thing.

Just finished #audiobook recommendation from @md: #ProjectHailMary by #AndyWeir. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Narration by #RayPorter is outstanding. My running pace would slow during the dramatic scenes. It's another book where I dreaded the final chapters not wanting it to end: "no way this can wrapup in the last 20mins!?" Loved the #speculative #science as well the subtle yet hopeful commentary on #humanity. #Perth gets mention again: a biology lab here makes an important scientific contribution.
Are there any #audiobook fans on here? I’m currently listening to Fairy Tale by #StephenKing but I’m always looking for good suggestions. My favorite audiobooks are mostly SciFi. I loved the #Bobiverse books and just about anything narrated by #RayPorter.
Are there awards for audio book narrators? Like the Oscars, but for audio books? If there is Ray Porter should get all the awards (at least, that's where my head is after listening to all the books in the Bobiverse series. Damn, he does an amazing job!!)
