Nach dem Ausstieg von #PhilCollins trat #RayWilson 1996 die schwierige Nachfolge als Sänger von #Genesis an. Es sollte nur eine kurze Zusammenarbeit werden: Nach einem Album und einer Europatournee war Schluss.

Nachfolgend veröffentlichte er jedoch zahlreiche Alben, konnte eine treue Fanbasis aufbauen und tourt seitdem praktisch unentwegt durch Europa.

#np #vinyl #genesis Calling All Stations. Ive a lot of time for this album. Its flawed as it is often one paced and the songs seem like they could’ve been polished up a bit, too often they are faded out. Having said that #raywilson does a decent job here (and on the live gigs) but it needed some melodic tunes. Ironically there were a bunch of such on single b-sides that are worth catching on Youtube. Deserves not to be airbrushed from their catalogue

He's a fantastic singer but mostly not a great songwriter. Discovered this album two weeks ago and really like it, though.
Bjørn Riis - Everything to everyone
Everybody keeps complaining you could listen to David Gilmour instead and get the real deal. I still like listening to Riis.

Great live album with material from the first 4 Hogarth-era-albums - I love The Bell in the Sea!
