Putting in some morning time at #ReferenceDesk. Virtual or in person, we are here.
Another Sunday at #ReferenceDesk. So far mostly quiet, so I can get some administrivia done as well as prep for some upcoming research consults and classes I am teaching.
Working the #ReferenceDesk as the #SundayLibrarian. Usually I can leave my student worker at the desk and stay in the office, but today I have a new worker, so I need to be close by.
I'll be a bit busy given I have 2 consults, and other administrivia to complete.

Do what you can with what you have and where you are.
Putting in some time at #ReferenceDesk. I also have a new student worker working their first shift this early evening, so I will be here a bit late in order to train them.
Again, not naming names, but if you, big shot newspaper, cite a legal case, and you have text for it linked (for public, allegedly), DO NOT load it into some private shit like Scribd which requires subscription. Defeats the purpose.

Once again, Sunday at #ReferenceDesk. I am expecting it to be mostly quiet since this week is finals. Also Dec. graduation is happening today (for some reason, my college does it BEFORE finals, Jeebus knows why).
Anyhow, in person or virtual, we are here.
Called in to work, due to student worker shortage. Anyhow, I on at #ReferenceDesk for a few extra hours today.
Finished my last research consult for this shift. Rest of shift should be a bit calmer (though I never know what will come to or happen at #ReferenceDesk).
Shortage of students workers for #ReferenceDesk so I am covering a bit later today than usual. It is what it is.
Timely, on a side note. Was just helping a student in a consult writing about Christian bias in courts. This may have interested them too.
> Most colleges score low on helping students of all faiths – or none – develop a sense of belonging. Faculty can help change that

Follow up, the student worker arrived a bit later than expected but DID arrive. Thank you #CosmicJoker. I am going home.

And it looks like no student worker for the late shift, so seems I am doing the midnight run at #ReferenceDesk.
Once more, Sunday at #ReferenceDesk. Short a student worker, so bit busy between some administrivia, prepping for some consults coming up, virtual reference, and just manning the desk.
My day today. Rest of week has been similar. Just busy time.
Follow up: I have two scheduled research consults with students. Just completed one, one more a bit later this evening. However, also had a brief virtual reference query (ended up being a referral) and a walk in student needing some help, so pace in the shift just flows and ebbs. #ReferenceDesk
Once more Sunday at #ReferenceDesk. On my own 'til 6p since no student worker now, and next one should be here at 6p. I am on shift 'til 9p.
Service point mostly quiet for now, but I got a lot of administrivia, so a bit at a time.
Of possible interest.

Going through my morning emails, which include various library vendor emails, and the fancy pants legal database is announcing they now use #AISlop to summarize articles.
Nice.
#SundayLibrarian has been bit busy. Two research consults with students plus I completed a reference request from the "pen pal." Those are often interesting requests, so the materials will go out to the client on tomorrow's mail.
Rest of evening should be calm.
