Please note that X/Twitter owns all usernames and can reclaim them at any time.

If you leave Twitter without deleting your account, with private option on and you delete the app, Twitter may delete your account and release the username @

Un aviso que quiero dar:
Ten en cuenta que X/Twitter es propietario de todos los nombres de usuario y puede reclamarlos en cualquier momento.

Tú no posees el @ sino que es X quién lo posee y te permite usarlo, hasta que ellos quieran (Esto pasó con el usuario @x anterior le cambiaron su @ y pasó a la cuenta oficial)

Si abandonas Twitter sin eliminar tu cuenta, con el candado activado y eliminas la aplicación, Twitter puede eliminar tu cuenta por inactividad y liberar el nombre de usuario

and the result is a 487 pages-long "more tweet" document in addition to the pre-existing document that is now 416 pages long (was 365 at the end of #RipTwitter in 2022). Of course, this has shockingly low density of information per page due to complete lack of mise en page...

I wonder why people still talk about Twitter. This platform where we used to socialize with people from all around the world does not exist anymore. Its new owner was very explicit about it when he renamed it to X 🤷‍♂️. You have been warned! (Btw if you are still looking for new home, you have just found it)

Sad to see it go, because of how vibrant it was at the time. Downloaded my history, and scrolling back through time was emotional, and I'm glad I was able to get that archive for posterity. But, like so many, I just can't anymore. #riptwitter

As promised in my recent post, I finally got around to finally nuking my :deadbird: account. I already have my archive from two years ago, so there is nothing of value.

Hopefully anyone that is left on that :deadbird: site can find me on Mastodon and also Bluesky as this account is bridged.

I’m done being on Elon’s site, and I’m not going back there, ever again. Been on the site since 2007, but after Elon started ruined it, it’s over for me. My new home is on the Fediverse.
