Okay, this comes from someone who used to have crappy #SatelliteInternet where I used to live. It never ceases to amaze me how fast my #Internet is now. A #Windows reinstall that took days before now takes hours on good #FiberOptic Internet. I'm still in the country, but this area happens to have great connectivity. #RuralInternet #TechTalk #InternetSpeed #tech #technology

Here's my current access to the Web, slow ADSL through copper wire to a cabinet a mile away.

Next year ADSL goes away when BT removes traditional telephony and the connection becomes SOGEA which may or may not work at our distance.
