Just got relic skip on #SotN for the first time on original hardware. Immediately saved and restarted to copy the save file to make sure I didn’t lose it, but somehow I ended up formatting the memory card instead 🤦‍♂️ Time to redo it! #sfge

I’m planning on exhibiting three versions of #Castlevania: Symphony of the Night at the Southern Fried Gaming Expo in Atlanta in June: the PS1 original, the Japanese Sega Saturn version, and the PSP version running on PS4.

Due to expo rules I won’t be exhibiting ROM hacks like the English Saturn translation and Rondo of the Night, but they will be handy on my laptop in case as an individual I happen to show them to someone 😉

A selection of the plethora of quality #arcade games I played at Southern Fried Gaming Expo in #Atlanta week before last. #SunsetRiders was frozen, sadly, but man, that's a good one. Almost beat #BuckyOHare but for some reason,my last attempt to continue just didn't work.

I also played some #Tempest, #Robotron2084, and #Joust, among others, but couldn't be bothered to take pictures. I got a lot going on.

#SFGE is worth checking out just for the arcade games. Hundreds of cabs and ,pinball machines, all on freeplay. #VCF Southeast colocating with it is icing on the cake. Very good weekend, highly recommend.

There was a guy at #SFGE that built an old school, analog, localized, cell network for the first generation of phones.

One of the highlights of #SFGE for me and @EienAi was @hiccupInteracts's Urchins & Ink.

I built a hologram display for our #ShukoSun booth at #SFGE, I'm calling it a holobox. I thought it was mid, it didn't give the effect I was hoping for, but passers by thought it was rad af. It works as an attractor for sure so going to keep working on it.

Another con in the books! Southern Fried Gaming Expo was awesome. It was great being a guest at a convention for the first time in 4 years, and I tabled for the first time ever. Thanks to @wackomedia, @EienAi and @Tekkaman_Blade for making it extra special.

Our panel "No Coding? No Problem! How to Make a Great Game Anyway" went well, we had some great conversations, and we got to show off our #VR game!

Anyone else checking out the Vintage Computer Festival Southeast and/or the Southern Fried Gaming Expo in Atlanta this year?

After seeing coverage of the VCF in New Jersey, I was super stoked to see we were getting one in Atlanta. The fact that it is colocating with the Southern Fried Gaming Expo, which also looks amazing, is icing on the cake.

Did anyone go last year? Any tips?
