Capturing the world passing by.
Getting to grips with Affinity Photo, but not sure on the colour tweeks for this one. Will need to spend a bit more time fiddling!

A long exposure of a waterfall in Iceland with people walking around and most appearing blurred due to the long exposure. There is a single man, with his back to the camera, appearing still as he takes a photograph of the waterfall.

The blue hour last night. I stepped outside before dinner to grab a few frames, just as the town lights began to turn golden against the fjord.

This scene reminded me of many years ago when I caught up with a friend in this same village. So I sent him a copy of the photo and a quick hello. Turns out he's been feeling very blue himself.

Night descends on Senja, with heavy skies and the promise of more rain all evening.

There are so many beautiful waterfalls in Iceland and these are some of my favourites that I photographed during my winter road trip.

The waterfalls of Hraunfossar are a real treasure. The name translates as “Lava Falls” thanks to the huge lava field from which the falls emerge. They're best described as a collection of countless creeks and cascades big and small streaming out of the lava over a distance of about 900 metres.

The water flowing is straight from the mighty Langjökull glacier (the second largest ice cap in Iceland) that’s already taken a fifty-year journey before it hits the falls.
