In recent months, I have been in a number of meetings with small or medium enterprises and local governments about #SmartEnergySolutions #SmartGrids. Two observations:

1. The discussion too often starts with the desired technologies instead of aims and objectives.

2. The discussions too often focus on the perceived risks of (proven!) technologies whereas the main factor of success is the governance.
