Looks like a crime scene. I've done it myself: opened the #LEGO #SmartBrick. Unfortunately I've also accidentally cut some wires (not visible in the photo). Interestingly the NFC tag reading part still works though. Don't know about BrickNet though (brick to brick communication). However, that should work via Bluetooth LE. So maybe I just broke some sensing part. Off to more some other day...

They probably "only" damaged the wires around the actual brick. Downloaded from Instagram (user samwyattbricks), because I don't have it and you probably also don't.

I've just published another git repository on Codeberg and called it #SmartBrickToolkit: https://codeberg.org/maehw/SmartBrickToolkit -- currently it contains a Python tool to analyze firmware images (to be extracted from the SMART Assist APK). #LEGO #SmartPlay hacking continued: as the Smart Minifigs and Smart Tiles comply with standard ISO 15693 NFC, they can be copied. So this had to be done. The clone works totally fine with the original #SmartBrick.
