Vene tuli hankituksi
Vasta viime alkukesästä myin moottoriveneen 23 vuoden veneilyn jälkeen. Se oli hyvä päätös. Mutta nyt mulla on taas vene, tosin soutuvene.
Olin haaveillut soutuvenettä jo pitkään. Kaverini tiesi erään romun meren rannan pusikossa, jossa se oli muutaman vuoden maannut raatona. Reikiä oli pohjassa, mutta sisäpuolelta melko siisti. Siitä saisi ehkä kunnostamalla kulkupelin.
Soitettiin omistajalle ja saimme luvan roudata sen pois. Ei päästy tinkimään, kun saatiin ilmaiseksi. Tyytyväinen vain oli kun ranta siivoutui, kuskattiin samalla rikkinäinen potkukelkka pois samasta pusikosta.
Perälauta, johon mahdollisesti moottori kiinnitetään oli melko haperossa kunnossa ja lasikuidutusta oli jonkin verran tiedossa, Tarvikkeita hankkimaan ja hommiin.
Perälaudan fiksauksen jälkeen rungon reikien kimppuun. Kaverini on taitava lasikuiduttamaan.
Minä pääsin maalaamaan sävytetyllä Unicalla. Hieman eri sävy, mutta hyvä sävy.
Keulaan köliin laitettiin vielä muoviletkusta kyhätty törmäyslista, jotta rantautumiset eivät heti rei’itä sitä uudestaan. Pari päivää annettiin maalin kuivua ja sitten trailerilla ajo venekerhon satamaan.
Koesoudulle oli kotisatamassa päästävä. Vielä on vähän fiksattavaa ja sisäpuoli maalattava. Kännykällä taas kuva sisäpuolelta ja maalikauppaan etsimään sopivaa sävyä.
Ei sama sävy, mutta tämäkin on hyvä. Samalla hankin mustia muovihippuja, joita sitten tiputtelin märän maalin päälle.
Tähän mennessä rahaakin on kulunut jo toista sataa, vaikka itse vene olikin ilmainen. Lähisaariin on jo soudeltu makkaraa paistamaan ja portaaleja haltuun ottamaan. Edessä on taas veneilykesä 😉

When I laid myself on the sofa, my husband was puttering in the kitchen.
When I awoke, my head was in his lap, and there was an empty dinner plate on the table.
He managed to get his lap under my head and eat dinner without waking me up.
For those of you who think that's weird, the sofa is very short and I am very tall. There's no room for both of us if one is sprawling across it.
