Good morning and happy #SofaSunday. We're again sunny and bitter cold, so hanging out on the sofa is just fine with me.
Truthfully, my mind is easily distracted right now, and I notice I'm walking around in kind of a fog, so it doesn't much matter what's on the TV.
The important thing is that the sun is out and I've got a comfortable spot to sit. 👍

Happy #SofaSunday. It's been an "exciting" 24 hours. We've lost power twice, once yesterday afternoon, once this morning. Yesterday it lasted for 3+ hours. Before sunrise it was only for about an hour. What's extra exciting is the 10F weather outside, not counting wind chill. And, obviously, not ever knowing when it will come back on. Luckily, we have a pellet stove with an 8-10 hour back-up battery. We've already decided that a second battery is going to be purchased quickly.

No Olympics or Super Bowl watching here, for me. Them being exclusively showing on NBC here makes that impossible. Reception of that network is not possible here.
Not that I really care. I have little interest in seeing either and will much rather find stuff far more interesting to me. Some Sci-fi movie or show or something. 🤔
But HEY. Y'all sit n sip n enjoy the sportings of the day. Meanwhile, I'll get up n go search for more coffee to sip n sunshine to sit in. 💪😎

Good morning and happy #SofaSunday. Not one flake! We have not received a single flake of snow from the east coast storm. Thank goodness, because the wind chill temps are -6F / -21 c. Mother Nature has substituted strong winds instead, but so far we have power. I’m grateful for this morning’s fresh coffee. I’m spared from drinking the emergency thermos I made last night.
To everyone contending with this cold +/or snow, stay as warm and safe as you can.

Happy February, and more importantly, Happy very chilly #SofaSunday morning to ya.😊
Yup. It's a very chilly 16 degree ( a cool -9 C) morning here #today, with the wind chil making it feel more like 9 deg F ( -13C) out there.🥶
But with a little sunshine soon showing up, we may hit a high 37deg at some point in #myday. 🤞
Of course, now being February, that just means we are stepping slowly into the coldest n worse of the winter. So, as happy as I am to see we have survived halfway through it, the real winter weather fun n games is just beginning. 🥴
But, on a happier note, the power is still on, the heat pump is pumping heat nicely, and the pipes didn't freeze. 👍😄
And with the coffee brewed n waiting and the sun soon awakening, all I've got to do this sofa surfing sunday is to find my comfy seat n sit n sip #myday away. ☕️🌞😎

Happy #SofaSunday to you. We are now alternately having sleet and snow and it appears we’ll be observing the same race between falling temps and precipitation later this afternoon.
I’m not a big pie maker but do have a big supply of homemade cookies on hand. To cleanse the palate I’m going to make onion dip for football watching later on. After all, variety is the spice of life. 😊

Hey, y'all. Happy soggy, wet n rainy #SofaSunday morning to ya. 👋
I'm waking up to steady rain and a wet 48deg F n falling temperatures to start #myday #today. They say this pattern of falling water n temperatures will last all day, with the temperature reaching the teens by tomorrow morning. 🥶
The thing to watch today out my window will be, which reaches the finish line first. The rain before the freezing temperatures, or the cold turning the wet icy n coating everything slick n slippery. 🤔
The race is on. 💪
But we are prepared. The emergency cookie jars are full, and even a backup pumpkin pie is prepared to placate any hungry bellyaching. 🌞👌😜
Needless to say, there's no plans to venture out or do anything other than my usual Sunday sofa surfing n weather watching while sitting n coffee sipping. ☕️👀
I wanta encourage y'all to follow my lead to the coffee pot for a cup n find a comfy seat n sit out the storming happening. 👍

Good morning and happy #SofaSunday. So far, the snow that was predicted for today is only rain. The latest forecast is for a change over to snow around noon, but I'm skeptical. This is a common scenario for this shore area. The ocean tends to keep our temperatures too warm for snow.
Whether it's snowing or raining, I'll be spending a cozy day indoors. It'll be fairly lazy as well, as the stew I'm making for dinner takes little time to prepare.

The skies are so dark and dreary I’m tempted to go back to bed. Instead I’ll enjoy the silence and Lucy’s companionship. Both are restorative.

Good morning and happy #SofaSunday. I have nothing on my agenda today, which is good since I’m feeling lazy. My second cup of coffee isn’t providing the usual motivation to get up and move. I think bears have the right idea to sleep through these winter months.
Lucy has curled up next to me and we are keeping each other warm. I’m going to sit and watch the sun rise over the trees for now. No sense in disturbing the peace.

So, I suspect my usual morning of moaning n groaning and stretching n flexing on my waddling out to the kitchen in search of my morning coffee will suffice to get me loosened and ready to face my morning of sitting n coffee sipping. 💪
At least they will as soon as the pot finishes perking n the coffee starts calling. ☕️👍😁
It's a cool 36deg morning here of dense fog hiding the rising sun. But it's expected to shine nicely later and rise the temperature with it up close to 60deg #today. So, some sitting n basking in it is still hoped for at some point today. ☀️🤞😎
There's not much else on my agenda today other than watching the Steelers attempt to play football against the Ravens this afternoon. 🏈
After their humiliating performance last week, though, I am not holding out much hope that the real Steelers team will show up, and not just some fans from the stands, no less win the game.😏
So, no popcorn at game time today, in fear it will all end up being tossed at the TV. 🥴
The same goes for any cookies 🍪 👌😉
