The snow is light outside, we've probably gotten about 6.4" inches of snow...Not much, it is cold AF out there, so I've been keeping myself cozy wrapped in a blanket and thinking about my next gaming session.

I might even do some writing or read some to pass the time.

However, a Hytale update came out so I might putter around on there while waiting for dinner time to arrive (I am making chicken tacos). Thinking about building a new base in another location before starting to farm. As I like my little first base location, but, it doesn't make the most of the building blocks that would make it exceptional!

Probably going to make a longhouse look alike build in another spot. I've got enough cobble that could be converted into prettier stone for the build.

Had a great weekend in Sur and got back to Muscat around 19:30 only to discover I'd left my laptop in a McDonald's 200km away.

Just reclaimed it. Will stay in a local hotel tonight and head out to the office around 07:00.

Just as well my head is firmly attached or I'd leave that behind too.

Not much planned for #Today. I think we will do a total house cleaning from the man cave downstairs to the bedrooms upstairs. It’s been a while since we’ve done a real, thorough cleaning. And with four cats and two dogs, the house can get messy in a hurry! I’m the floor man – vacuuming, sweeping, and swiffering. I will listen to the fantastic #audiobook of The Project Hail Mary while working.

Well my wife has lost her mind! It's 4°F outside with the wind chill more like -12°F and she wants to run to Costco. The snow hasn't started but damn it's cold! 🥶❄️

I already had to experience going full turtle getting out of the shower. 🤦🏼‍♂️ Shrinkage didn't cover it. Our old house was built in the 60's and the shower is in an dormer sticking off the back of the house.

Happy #SlackerdaySaturday. Today is a day in limbo. Those of us along the Atlantic Ocean watch the storm wreak havoc on those to the west. We're just waiting our turn. My heart is with my Dallas family. They are getting hit now + won't be above freezing until Tuesday. At least the rest of my family, in NJ, Montana + Illinois are better prepared to deal with cold, ice and snow.

Today I'll bake some more, to keep us well-fed and our spirits up. Homemade snacks make everything better.

Good morning and TZAG, friends.

The sky looked like snow to me when I got up and started my morning routine #today. A good reminder I have a little more prep, to get the rest of the firewood stacked and all of it securely covered to stay dry.

The print copy of the Ancient Wonders supplement I bought for Starforged arrived this week. Later in the day I plan to explore it in another solo game session. I will have fun progress to share in this week's comms check with @grueproof.

If the grass seems to have a white tint to it, it does. There was a frost. Even after my hike ended, it remained.

Today is our last day of super cold temperatures. I didn’t even see anyone on my walk yesterday.

Probably the breeze chased them away.
