Wir sind zurück aus Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Mein Kater weckt mich um 3:30 Uhr und hält mich wach mit Schmusen, weil er mich so vermisst hat.

Heute geht’s zum Flohmarkt. Dann schaue ich mal weiter. Vielleicht etwas #Solasta? 🤔

Heute war ein cooler Tag. Ich habe spontan frei genommen, bin 2h und 42km mit dem #gravelbike unterwegs gewesen, habe mit der besten aller Ehefrauen Mittag gegessen und konnte dann noch gut 2h #Solasta spielen, bevor die Kinder aus der Schule gekommen sind.

Habe bei #Solasta die Gruppe nach meiner allerersten Rollenspielgruppe gebaut und versuche das möglichst so zu spielen.

Was macht mein größenwahnsinniger Magier Nero? Schnappt sich eine fancy Krone aus einer uralten Bibliothek eines untergegangenen Reiches. Er will sie partout nicht hergeben, denn sie ist mächtig. Zumindest seiner Meinung nach.

Und ich lach mich hier tot, weil das garantiert auch das gewesen wäre, was Neros Spieler getan hätte. 🤣

Also ich muss ja sagen einen gewissen Charme hat #Solasta ja. Wirft mich gefühlsmäßig einige Jahre zurück in meiner Gaming Geschichte. Ich beömmel mich köstlich.

Bin mal gespannt was Zodia, Edmund, Nero und Gregorian so erleben werden. XD

[Jeu] Solasta : Crown of the magister

L'aventure fut épique. Le jeu est un bon début, on ressent que l'équipe était un peu limité par son budget et ont visé un peu trop grand.

Néanmoins, le jeu offre une base solide de mécaniques, d'exploration. Passons en revue ses défauts :

- Les visages sont les même. Les lieux sont vérrouillés abruptement. Des maisons vides...
- De très grandes villes avec 2-3 habitants.
- Les ingrédients ne servent pas à grand chose et certains sont absents du jeu
- Certaines scènes ne sont pas logique par rapport à l'histoire du jeu
- La caméra est pénible, on ne peut pas l'incliner
- les sorts de divination ne servent à rien et ne detecte pas les soh-rak.

En gros c'est un peu comme witcher 1 où finalement on oublie un peu ses défaut et se laisse porter par l'histoire.

L'univers de Solasta change légèrement des habituels DnD. Les humains sont des réfugiés, un empire elfique qui s'est effondré...ça change.

Et j'ai bien aimé la saveur, le dialogue entre notre 4 héros qui apporte une touche d'humour, de la réparties ou fustration. Ya pas vraiment de choix qui influence le scénario. Le chemin est tout tracé.

Son point fort est l'execution des combats. J'avais pas une équipe très équilibrée mais le jeu laisse suffisament de manoeuvre pour survivre.

- paladin : la classe qui a fait le plus de dégats. Donc tout ma partie se reposait sur lui
- mage : difficile à maintenir. Les sort necessite de la concentration. Si on brise ta concentration, non seulement le sort disparait mais tu perd aussi le point dépensé pour ton sort ou ton invocation se retourne contre toi et nique tout le game.
- druide : utilisé surtout pour les soins. Ses invocations "punchball" me servaient à ralentir les ennemis et leur donner des malus d'attaques à distance. Et permettre au paladin de dégommer les ennemis les plus dangereux entre temps. Quelque sort utiles pour controler la zone. En revanche niveau arme, j'ai rien trouvé. Gérer arme + sort est très compliqué
- barde : uniquement le soin et quelque sorts d'attaque psy.

La difficulté pour moi a été de gérer les sorts de concentration, d'attaque et armes. C'était très difficile de trouver une synergie. En fin de compte, j'ai pas vraiment réussi mais j'en suis sorti indemne sans utiliser de potion de soin et 0 parchemin pour ressucister. Les armes magiques aident bien avec leurs dégats supplémentaires cumulées à l'aura du paladin.

Ya quelque partie que j'ai refaite mais la difficulté est gérable, bien dosée. Je pense que le niveau cauchemar serait une partie sans paladin.

L'aventure était épique, surtout la fin avec des hordes de Lézards. Le jeu vous demandera de bien gérer votre repos et d'économiser vos meilleurs sorts. 😋

Voilou, c'est pas mal du tout pour leur premier jeu qui a bien réussit la mécanique des combats. Solasta 2 va présenter de net progrès par rapport au premier sur le graphisme et la narration.

I'm breaking my self imposed social media silence to report that I actually found a game I wanted to play, a modern 3D game, that actually worked, first time, in Linux! #Solasta : Crown of the Magister is a great RPG that hearkens back to the tactical combat in #baldursgate 1 and 2 and the Gold Box #dnd games. I'm really impressed with it so far. My wife and I are playing Solasta Palace of Ice on Savenger Mode difficulty. Yesterday I mentioned how the difficulty doesn't really seem any harder than normal mode.
Que the universe listening:
Our very next fight was with a legendary Remorhaz & it's spawn. We lost so many times, I basically thought there might not be any way to beat them. It did so much damage with its legendary actions, as soon as it focused in on one character, the game was basically over.

My wife and I thought about giving Baldur's Gate 3 another shot after abandoning it last year. Buuuuut instead we're just playing Solasta. Again. For the millionth time.

The devs working on #Solasta 2 always preface their update dev blogs with a picture of their various cats, so for that alone they have my respect.

Solasta’s Palace of Ice is completed. It had some interesting twists and traditionally interesting story and combat and two possible endings you can chose to conclude it. Together with original Crown of the Magister’s story, it creates a nice saga potential. I’m satisfied with the series now. Maybe time to try something else.. or maybe try more DLCs? #solasta #crpg #gaming

Definitely finding that #Solasta rewards preparation and thought, and punishes you when you just half-ass things.
Combat versus some thugs just now, and I dropped a black tentacle patch in the hall, kept all my people in the next room, and am just popping out to take pot shots then break line of sight again. They're forced to "come at me bro" and kill themselves in the patch or let me pew-pew them to death.
