Vladimir Motin, 59, a Russian national, was in charge of the Solong when it collided with the Stena Immaculate, carrying jet fuel for the American military, on Monday about 19km off the East Yorkshire coast, leaving one man dead.

Vladimir Motin, 59, of Primorsky, St Petersburg, Russia, has been remanded in police custody to appear at Hull Magistrates' Court on Saturday, Humberside Police said.
