So now I’m home. Feeling almost normal but worried about the effects of having had #COVID , #EBV , #Strep and a chest infection all in succession. Alls I know is, I’m doing fuck all but resting for the next couple of months.
They want me back in hospital in 2 weeks for a check.
The whole ordeal was utterly terrifying. I honestly felt like I was going to die on Monday night. But I’m so so glad to be feeling more normal now, after a month of a constant fever. 7/

Cousin's 17yo had #pneumonia in August.
Husband's client's 17yo currently has pneumonia.
Family friend 11yo has pneumonia, #strep, and double ear infections.
Cousin's pediatrician says it's not normal for kids this age to be getting pneumonia, but they're seeing more and more cases.

So, #covid and #strep are running rampant among teachers and students at 11yo's school.
I had to pick her up early yesterday because she had a migraine.
She stayed home today with general ickiness & low energy. Temp 1° above normal-for-her.
She and Ed just tested negative for covid. They'll test again Sunday evening.
I started running a fever this evening. I'll test tomorrow evening.
I have been out of #CovidJail for 2 weeks, 4 days.
