सुप्रीम कोर्ट का ऐतिहासिक फैसला
पिछले साल सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने 7 जजों की बेंच में 6-1 के बहुमत से फैसला सुनाया। बेंच ने कहा कि अनुसूचित जाति (एससी) एक समान समूह नहीं है। इसमें सामाजिक और आर्थिक अंतर मौजूद हैं। इसलिए, जाति आधारित आरक्षण में उपवर्गीकरण जरूरी है। इसने 2004 के फैसले को पलट दिया, जिसमें दलित समुदाय को एकरूप माना गया था।
