That #GenCon booth...man, those were the days. So, I'd never been to GenCon before. None of us had. We had started up d8, this indie #TTRPG culture magazine in Philadelphia/NJ, and we needed a display for #Origins and GenCon, and I had gone to uni for Theatre Design, so I designed and built some stage flats to resemble a castle that could be disassembled and packed flat into a minivan.
Little did I know #TSR's centerpiece for GenCon was a gigantic castle in the middle of the exhibit floor.

That's the crux of it. Hasn't Dragonlance been largely inactive for years now? And most of these books, I'd think anyone into Dragonlance back in the day has read most of these like me.

Did you know that in 1983, TSR created a Star Frontiers commercial? I didn't until this morning (I originally saw this on the Grognardia blog)
Top Secret S.I. had a lot of accessories, some of them expanded the rules to include other genres. FREE Lancers made it into a superhero kind of game. TSAC7 (the 7th accessory!) by Scott Bowles goes into the setting. This was written in 1989.
Scholars will be able to look back and determine the precise date the American federal government began to disintegrate: Feb 11, 1994, the day Jim Bob Culpepper began building his wall.
Culpepper had successfully run for governor of Texas the previous year, promising, among other things, "to keep the Mexicans in Mexico." To this end, he took his lead from Berlin and proposed building a 12' high wall along the entire length of the Rio Grande, topping it with concertina wire, planting land mines in the area just north of the wall, and spacing guard towers, to be manned by Texas National Guardsmen, 150' apart.
By taking the rooms and corridors of the caves of chaos from B2, and stripping it of details and specific layout, you can then let different layout algorithms rearrange the rooms.

Going back nearly 15 years ago, I wrote down what the Caves of Chaos from B2 would look like if it were converted to a node edge graph. Back then, I wrote it in springy but it was not too much work to convert it to graphviz dot notation.

I made a node edge graph of the first three levels of WG7 Castle Greyhawk. Why? I was curious if it could be broken down into just the map and monsters so it could be reskinned as functional old school dungeon that made a little bit more sense than the zany adventures presented.
First image is a partial graph of what the dungeon looks likes as a graph.
Also, I would like to point out that the first level of the dungeon is named "Against the Little Guys" which is a play on words of the "Against the Giants" that Gary Gygax wrote.
