Good to see The Center for Taxpayer Rights leading the charge on this, as the #IRS is violating its own policies in service of the #TrumpRegime.
Drawing on multiple data sources which were once (for good reason) kept separate seems to be a key approach to weaponizing the government against the people.
I maintain that filing a federal #tax return this year aids the #TrumpAdministration in countless ways, and that a #TaxStrike is the collective action that the moment calls for.
They exempt their #billionaire donors from the taxes and fill their offshore accounts WITH OUR MONEY.
#Trump stands in the White House, and before Congress, and on Air Force One, and in all the institutions THAT WE PAID FOR, and he blames immigrants, minorities, and the poor for the trainwreck THAT HE CAUSES!
They murder to score political points. They rape teenage girls for fun.

And no one seems to want to hear this, but I'm really not sure why we (in the U.S.) are still paying taxes without so much as questioning the wisdom of funding fascism.
(Yes, taxes are the lifeblood of so much that is essential to our weakened democracy, but as long as our taxes are paying to cover up the #EpsteinFiles, keep #ICE thugs on the streets, etc., I'm hoping more people get on board with a #TaxStrike right f*cking now.)

I dont mind filing my state taxes bc DOGE (as far as I know) cannot access California's Treasury
but federal taxes? Forget it.

If you prefer the audio/visual approach, here is a video of a talk about tax resistance tactics that I gave to a UK tax resistance group a few years back.
My book “99 Tactics of Successful Tax Resistance Campaigns” is now available as a free, on-line e-book.
I updated it with some examples from campaigns that erupted since its original publication.
I also changed the title to the snappier “Tax Strike Tactics”.
We can no longer reliably extrapolate from long-standing precedent about how the government operates, or how it responds to tax resisters, to anticipate the near future.
While past tax policy changes have been slow, gradual, and predictable, near-future changes are likely to be abrupt, arbitrary, and unstable.
This presents American tax resisters with new challenges but also new opportunities.
There are a lot of takeaways from this:
1. Organizing locally gives you a massive advantage because you will always know your local area better than ICE ever can.
2. Be agile. You can always change tactics faster than a centralized organization.
3. Organize now. The sooner you build your networks, the sooner you can learn.
4. Identify ICE facilities and organize monitoring them directly.
But I think the most interesting one that's not explicitly in there, one that's hinted at the last one, is to go on the offensive. ICE is already afraid. If we all take the anger we have at the murder of #ReneGood, find the local ICE facility that they'll stage from, and bring that anger to #OccupyICE we might be able to just shut the whole thing down preemptively. Completely stop all ICE operations across the US. If they want to fight, they can fight *with everyone, all at once.*
Shut down their ability to operate at all. They have a logistics pipeline. They need cars, they need oil in those cars, they need to be able to move those cars to target areas. They also need money to pay those agents. All of those can be disrupted.
The regime needs your money and labor to maintain the illusion of legitimacy. They chose a bad time because you can hit both of those at once *right now* with a combination of #GeneralStrike and #TaxStrike, and then #BoycottEverything.
The regime is weaker than it's ever been. It's flailing. Their own base is demanding the release of the #EpsteinFiles. Their last gasp attempt to prevent the radical change that's coming is just to ethnically cleanse the US back to the 50's (which is what they always meant by "Make America Great Again"). Trump will do anything to stay in power, even if it means killing everyone on Earth in the process. But Americans can end it now by going on the offensive.
Now is the time.
Reminder to not pay your federal or state taxes this year. Cut off more of the money they need to keep the machine grinding
