An entertaining and wildly informative talk by Irving Finkel about descriptions and discussion of #ghosts in Mesopotamian cuneiform tablets to end the day at #TheHauntedLandscape
Think the highlight of the day has been the chance to be mesmerised by the storytelling skills of @LisaSchneidau@twitter.com #TheHauntedLandscape
Watching Elizabeth Dearnleyโs talk on Fearsome Fairies on the #ConwayHall YouTube channel from last yearโs Haunted Landscape event.

Happy to be reminded and introduced to some of the many artworks inspired by Avebury stone circle by artists Daniel & Clara at #TheHauntedLandscape. Clockwise L-R: works by Paul Nash, John Piper, Eileen Agar, and Derek Jarman ๐
Someone on here talked about Jenny Greenteeth meaning duckweed awhile back I'm sure, as hearing it mentioned just now as part of #TheHauntedLandscape was very familar.
It's #TheHauntedLandscape lecture day at Conway Hall. The point about people making/creating rather than just taking photos struck a note with me. Yes, you "take" them, but you've also looked, paused, seen what you want to capture (fleetingly) and mentally commissioned it.
Also my Dutch friend used to translate "take' to "make" and it never seemed odd. #Fortean
