Eugene Victor Tooms was an avid gamer. Upon re-awakening in 1993, he discovered Final Fantasy 5 for the NES.

(How he got his hands on the game, which was at the time only released in Japan, is anyone’s guess.

However, it is widely assumed by the FBI to be a memento from one of Toom’s victims, along with the console, which he also nicked).
