The End: Quite a dark episode, even for The X Files. It concerns an attempted assassination on a child, but his chess opponent is the one who ends up shot instead. The fact that the cigarette smoking man and his allies are fine with killing a child, because of his #XFiles

Listening to Welcome to Night Vale, and they're OOC doing TV best/worst episode reviews. Latest is X-Files.

"Teso Dos Bichos" is mediocre, but it's nowhere near as bad as the Agent Dogshit seasons, which are unwatchable. I can't pick one, just entire S8-9.

"Bad Blood", their "best", is… OK. It's the Rashomon episode with the fake/real vampires.

But the best is either "Home" or "José Chung's From Outer Space", which are the best monster (man) and "what is this show even about‽"

@CultureDesk @Variety In this age of the general public buying into conspiracy theories en mass, this sounds like a good idea. But I'd like to see some young actors take the lead roles - fine to have Mulder and Scully involved, but maybe make them the mentors of the next generation. Could be good!

Good news for science-fiction fans (possibly the whole of the fediverse): Ryan Coogler, director of "Fruitvale Station," "Creed," the "Black Panther" movies and most recently, "Sinners," is working on an "X-Files" reboot. This was first reported a couple of years ago; Coogler says he's now spoken to Gillian Anderson. "We're going to try to make something really great, bro, and make something for the real 'X-Files' fans and maybe find some new ones," he told the team at Last Podcast on the Left.
