The 1981 #KerrySeniorFootballChampionship was the 81st staging of the Kerry Senior Football Championship since its establishment by the #KerryCountyBoard in 1889. The championship ran from 13 June to 27 September 1981. #FealeRangers entered the championship as the #defendingChampions, however, they were beaten by #AustinStacks in the #semifinals. The final was played on 27 September 1981 at #AustinStackPark in #Tralee, between #SouthKerry and Austin Stacks.
Doodled some new box art in Tralee of Scotia, the Egyptian royal from Irish mythology who, while pregnant, fought in a battle and died just outside Tralee - her grave is said to be marked by a large stone in Scotia's Glen. There is also a belief that she is linked to the name of Scotland, through her descendants. Thanks @nonfaction for coordinating!

A 36-year-old serial fraudster has been sentenced to four years in jail with the final 12 months suspended at the circuit criminal court in Tralee, Co Kerry, after she pleaded guilty to 18 counts of deception and theft.

Coastal communities across Ireland and Scotland will host simultaneous screenings of the documentary Shanshula this Thursday 20th of February
Directed by Palestinian filmmaker and human rights activist Musheir El Farra Shanshula follows the Palestinian fishing community’s struggle for survival under Israel’s decades-long blockade and now genocide of the Gaza Strip.

Any Irish/Munster people know of similar paintings to these in their local businesses?
They are from the early 1980's, pretty distinctive style and signed 'E Cotter'. Mr. Cotter, who I understand was from Cahir seems to have traveled around painting these on spec for businesses.
These two paintings are hanging in the Green Rooster #Tralee and Scally's Supervalu #Clonakilty, surely there are more out there...
