So who's into rough, raunchy garage synth punk? Just discovered this band called Achterlicht from the Netherlands and they totally rip. They appear to be really young dudes, but they have this shit DOWN. They've put out TWO demos this year, and both are full of fantastic songs and are full listens for me. I just went through both, no skips. How rare is that! And they're quick listens too, only 11 songs total, none over 3 minutes.

New discovery: a band called Manateees.
Kinda trash rock, kinda punk, they're super raw and raunchy and weird. (Just how I like it.)
They have a few albums that I've listened to today, and they're ALL bangers.
SO MANY great songs.
There's not a ton of their stuff on YouTube (some live stuff) -- but this video someone made with movie clips for their song "The Beast" is pretty wild:
It's probably impossible for a band to have a name like Swamps and then to have an album cover like this and for me NOT to like it. Some SERIOUSLY good trash rock from Japan to bang your body around to (also great for washing dishes to). SWAMPS, BABY.

In music information very few to no people will care about, I discovered today that a band (project) I really like on Big Neck Records called Beasteater (https://bigneckrecords1.bandcamp.com/album/beasteater) is actually a collection of people from other bands.
And that led me to discover the equally as amazing Choke Chains (https://slovenly.bandcamp.com/album/choke-chains-choke-chains-lp -- and that's the garage/punk band, not the industrial act of same name) who had their album linked here released on Slovenly Records.
Choke Chains has the same singer etc (Tommy Potter) as the Beasteater record, so it has that same raunchy, fuzzy feel.
Catch all that?
Anyway, both of these albums rip.
