Welp, imma pass out now. I dunno what to tell ya' folks, the Owlbear needs sleep.
So I thought tonight I'd recommend a game that seems to have been slept on, and it really deserves better. It's called Flynn: Son of Crimson.
At its heart, Flynn is an action platformer with exploration and RPG elements. You're out to protect your home, the island of Rosantica. Explore, do battle, solve (admittedly not very complicated) platforming puzzles, learn magic, and team up with a very large furry buddy.
It's got beautiful pixel art, a solid chiptune soundtrack, and it handles all the fundamentals well. Is it extraordinary? Not really. But it's a solid 7.5/10 game that's only gotten like 350 reviews.
That's nonsense. I know it's not a critical metric or anything, but seriously, more people should have talked about this game when it came out. Go check it out and see if it looks cool to you. I think it will.
