Bei dem immer mehr und MEHR an #KI Scheißdreck, den #Microsoft in ihr Windoof 11 einbaut, werde ich wohl doch einfach auf #Windows 10 bleiben.

Solange #Steam, #Adobe und #VirtualDJ Win10 supporten ist alles gut.

Und vielleicht läuft irgendwann ja das alles auch gut unter #Linux, dann kann ich ja immernoch umziehen.

Weiß jemensch wie man in #VirtualDJ beim Laden eines Lieds dieses auch direkt in der Waveline in den Vordergrund holt?

Das war bis zum letzten Update so. Die Änderung wird nicht im Changelog erwähnt und ich finde die Einstellung nicht.

Das macht mir meine gesamten Workflows kaputt...

So muss ich jetzt manuell auf A oder B klicken um darin spulen zu können.

Spule jetzt permanent im aktiven Lied statt im kommenden, was sich natürlich furchtbar anhört.

1. Where can I find an authentic Keffiyeh (Palestinian scarf)?

2. Any Serato heads out here? I can't get the driver for my SC Live 4 to work on Serato or Virtual DJ.. I've tried everything I could think of. #FreePalestine #DenonDJ #Serato #VirtualDJ

I should just buy the two programs I’ve been trying to find free alternatives for but lack great replacements, #VirtualDJ and #FLStudio. #MIXXX is okay but slightly janky and doesn’t fully support my controller, and #Cakewalk seems okay but is lacking measure lines in the region viewer or whatever so I think that can make it hard for me to make sure that my loops and notes are onbeat. (It also lacks some of #FLStudio’s effects but I’m sure that if I had the time and energy to spend I could find free plugins but, well, I don’t lol)

I have the money, I’m not really spending it on anything else.

This week is going to be good!

Doom Hero == Playing 1993 Doom with a Guitar Hero Controller
MGS2 == Likely the finale of the game.

After a long night and about 700 lines of manually written XML, I'm glad to say we managed to get #VirtualDJ working on #Linux with @thereddevil, #MIDI controller support included. The software runs rather well in #wine, but the way it detects controllers completely breaks in wine, so we had to basically rewrite entire controller definition and mapping. Now onward to tweaking the settings until I feel at home enough to justify the purchase of the full version
