🍿 Über #WINorLOSE bin ich zufällig gestolpert und die Folgen haten eine schöne Länge, um immer mal zwischendurch eine zu schauen.
Mit #Pixar verbinde ich viel Kreativität beim Erzählen von alltäglichen Stories und hier zeigt sich das wieder vom Besten. ❤️
Die Erzählstruktur gefällt mir in der Serie auch sehr. Es wird immer der gleiche Zeitabschnitt erzählt maximal mit kleinen Ergänzungen und immer aus der perspektive einer anderen Figur.

I was reminded of the careful compromises that were necessary in the 90s. I think it may be time for similar care to be taken again. I am hoping this starts a campaign. You know what else we finished last night? Pixar's Win or Lose show on Disney+.
It is one my favorite Pixar things in years. It's creative, clever, funny, charming, filled with delightful characters. I think it got away with a lot, too, since it was a show and not a feature film.
(Even with Disney’s removal of the verbal confirmation that one of its characters is trans, the fact of it was still so remarkably handled that I can forgive the show itself.)
#WinOrLose on Disney was mentioned on the #TodayInGay podcast the other day, so I started watching it yesterday. Honestly wasn't expecting a whole lot from it, but it turned out to be something truly special. ❤️
Really emotional, in a good way, though I did binge this, so not sure how the episodes land when spread apart more.
From what they said on the podcast, one character was originally intended to be trans, but Disney made them make that more subtle. I think that character's story was really good, but, unfortunately, I don't think most people would get "trans" from it without already having that foreknowledge or a personal connection with transness themselves.
Anyway, I highly recommend this show.

If you are looking for a fun Pixar series to watch on Disney+, I am happy to recommend “Win or Lose”. It has both heart and humor. I binged the first 6 episodes as I loved it so much.
