POOLS Chapter 0 (free chapter added to the main game!) has just released and it's amazing. Look at it. Gorgeous and twisty and brain-bending. Walking sims don't get much better than this. And the game starts out so innocently, lol. The surrealism explodes the further in you play. 😍

A glossy pink and green area with puffy ceramic clouds, tiny chairs, and a tiled abyss that leads to somewhere you really wouldn't want to be. A hole in the middle of the pink and green wall leads off enticingly.

Currently playing Lushfoil Photography Sim on #Steam. It's a photo-realistic walking sim with a heap of different locations and photographic challenges to work on as you walk around the beautiful areas.

Highly recommended, if you like walking sims and/or photography. 👍

Hier soir avec @Plume on a joué à Mouthwashing (et on l'a terminé, parce qu'il dure entre 2 et 3h selon votre playstyle.)

C'est un walking simulator d'horreur et de science-fiction aux graphismes rétro. (pensez : Dreamcast)

L'ambiance est vraiment très réussie et la narration décousue alterne sans arrêt entre des passages avant "le crash", des passages après "le crash" et des passages hallucinés. Et les choses s'imbriquent peu à peu au fil de l'avancée mais… on comprend aussi que le personnage qu'on incarne voit ce qu'il veut bien voir et s'arrange un peu dans sa tête avec ce qu'il se passe.

Parce que c'est ça le propos du jeu, on joue une personne qui se convainc qu'elle est incapable de faire du mal, que tout ce qu'elle fait, c'est pour le bien de tous, que tout va s'arranger, qu'elle ne fait qu'essayer de se plier aux exigences de tout le monde pour très peu de reconnaissance parce que les gens sont des ingrats après tout.

Alors que de toute évidence il y a des trucs qui coincent, des incohérences qui restent, etc.

C'est 13€ que je regrette pas d'avoir dépensés.

Au centre il y a une énorme tête qui se lève de l'horizon comme la planète d'un satellite. Elle est recouverte de bandages qui ne laissent voir qu'un œil exorbité injecté de sang et une bouche écorchée. La peau qu'on aperçoit est entièrement brûlée.
