Break a leg for #FootpathFriday the 13th 🤞

I met three British tourists at this spot, trying to navigate this part of the #trail in jeans and trainers. They were debating whether to turn around and take the bus instead. I told them it's a beautiful route, but there are plenty of sections just as slippery as this one. The fittest of them took a tumble, and after seeing that, the others decided to slide down the steps on their bums instead. I didn't stick around to see if they turned back, as I was heading toward the #Bastei rock formation in the opposite direction. Either way, climbing back up those steps would have been quite the challenge. 😅

The footpaths in #SaxonSwitzerland were something else, and they deserve a #FootpathFriday post of their own. 🥾🥾 With the snow and ice, some sections would have been impossible without those handrails.
