Took a break from programming to work on the 2nd PCB revision of the TW X1688. Used as much through-hole parts as I could which makes for an interesting look. Ultimately that was for better managing costs.

@Arturia #Pigments is good sounding #instrument except maybe the #wavetables. Wavetable #presets suffers most from being buried under the ton of #reverb as everything in Pigments. TBF it's the same with other types of synthesis but wavetables really loose their edge and become generic and boring. Also, I can make always my own presets using subtractive engine but wavetables are out of my comfort zone.

Just got the new Korg Modwave Native synth app, still at the intro price as of this post. I have wavetable synths both hardware and software, but this one is just fantastic. I've only made half a patch in it so far, but I'm sure I'll be making a video for it soon.
