Landmine squats, single-leg deadlifts, and box step ups along with shoulder rehab and core work
I like that I'm able to do more stuff that looks like actual lifting, but the set of gadgets I'm juggling to get all these movements in is getting a bit out of hand. Hopefully back to mostly barbells soon. That said - I'll take it
Hope everyone had a great week and is headed into a stellar weekend
Great session with the PT doc today. Lat pulldowns. Cable rows. If I keep this up it might start to be like actually lifting...
Landmine squats, single-leg deadlifts, box step-up, core work and shoulder rehab. Tuesday!
Goblet squats, banded good mornings, and goblet lunges along with core work and shoulder rehab. Threw in a one mile ruck with 40 lbs to go check on the garden. Short week for me but happy with the work I got in. Next week: back to shoulder PT to see how we can amp things up further
Everyone - have a great weekend!
Misty morning three mile ranch ruck with 40 lbs. Had a great pace except for the two times I managed to get myself tangled in barbed wire
Slow start to the week but back at the ranch and got in my land mine squats, single-leg deadlifts, box step-ups, core work and shoulder rehab. Slowly bumping up the weights on things and starting to incorporate actual shoulder work like ring rows. Progress!
Couple of goblet squats, single-leg deadlifts, and Bulgarian split squats along with some core work. Friday!
Had a great session with my PT doc yesterday - felt more like a crappy #CrossFit workout that I had to scale the hell out of rather than a PT session. I'll take it!
It is the weekend - make the most of it!
Got a slow start to the week, but today I bring you landmine squats, banded good mornings, box step ups, core work, and shoulder rehab
Landmine squats, single-leg deadlifts, box step up, a bunch of core work, and shoulder rehab
Second week getting back under some (albeit light) weights. Feels good
Hope everyone is doing as well as they can and are looking forward to a great weekend
Goblet squats, single-leg deadlifts, and goblet lunches along with shoulder rehab work

Three mile ranch ruck with 30 lbs
Love feeling a bit sore from even the modest leg work I did yesterday. Feels good to be getting back into it
Landmine squats, single-leg deadlifts, box step ups, and suitcase carries along with shoulder rehab work. Starting the week out right
Got a bit of core work in today - suitcase walks, sit-ups, Russian twists
Goblet squats, single-leg deadlifts, and goblet lunges interspersed with my shoulder rehab work
Still dialing in what sort of lower body stuff I can do with my shoulder still healing. Actual-squats? Absolutely not - can't get into position and load it. Front squats? Kind of the same thing. Deadlifts? I can get into position but don't want to load the tendons in my right arm
Love the circuit workout approach, though -- gets the heart rate up and saves overall workout time
Superset in some landmine squats and box step-ups with my shoulder rehab work this morning. First real resistance training in the last 3+ months so I'm sure the legs will feel real nice for the next couple of days. Still good to get some work in, and supersetting the shoulder and lower body work gets the heart going
2.5 mile ranch ruck. Bumped the weight up to 30 lbs - no problems with my shoulder so that's encouraging
Three-and-change ruck with 20 lbs out at the ranch this morning. Going to pick up some more weight plates when I run back through this house later today
Three-and-change walk today
Had a great visit with my shoulder doc Friday. He says I can get back doing the stuff I did before surgery. I'm not sure he understands what I did before surgery so I'll work with the PT doc to take things slow, but it is good to finally feel like I'm getting on the other side of this surgery
