And we're have arrived at the other end.
The chair was waiting for me and everything seems to be in order.

We are now on the plane, we boarded last because of the delays but we're here.
(thought I'd posted this) First screw up, they didn't have me down as a wheelchair user AND they didn't have the seats booked properly.
Half an hour until flight take off
Sitting at the pickup and drop off for domestic at Brisbane Airport, and oh gods I am judging all the people who pull up in a disabled spot.
Especially you Uber drivers
Addendum
There was 1 casualty of the flight. Looks like one of the sliders on my walker caught on something and is now just about to fall off.
I'll need to replace it when I get home
And we are off the plane, wheelchair was there and fully assembled with no obvious damage.
So thankyou to the very pleasant staff of Virgin Airways.
And we have touched down Brisbane. Now to wait while we taxi and the rest of the passengers get off
And we're on the plane. We were first on the plane (and will be last off at the other end) swapped to an aisle chair, my chair is now under the plane. So next stop is Brisbane.
Okay next step done. Wheelchair has been tagged so that it SHOULD be waiting at the gate when we arrive.
Once I'm out of the chair and on the plane they'll disassemble it (splits into three parts, main body, back and cushion).
Annnnd now the plane has been delayed by half an hour
Okay got through check in without an issue.
Security check was interesting. Literally had a mirror run under the chair and a full pat down and swab to check if I was smuggling drugs.
Thirty-five days, thirty head-tilting contradictions: from elevators that *never* break to cafés that shun outdoor tables, from bullet-train punctuality to websites that “sleep” at night. Roll with me through Japan’s elegant chaos—where radical accessibility and rigid rule-books somehow coexist—and see why I left with a lighter suitcase, a happier stomach, and a head full of marvels.

¿Qué significa para vosotros una silla de ruedas? Sin mi silla estaría en mi casa sin salir, sin moverme y sin vida. Así que para mí mi silla, significa libertad.

Does anyone have articles covering flying with a manual, rigid wheelchair?
Receiving my #TiLite has allowed me to think about the possibility of travel after years spent mostly at home, but I still have concerns. Like ensuring my chair isn't damaged. #WheelchairTravel
