Driveway edges
Mailbox & walkways
Outdoor units (AC/heat pump, gas meter, etc.)
Once everything is covered, those markers help prevent damage from shovels and plows and can save you from expensive repair surprises in the spring.

This week, we're having a new heat pump installed to keep things nice and cosy at Bruhaha, courtesy in part via a Green Business Grant from WECA 🌱
After last week, it can't come soon enough! 🥶
And in the summer it'll double as an ac unit too, handy for those balmy quiz nights! 🥵

Winter prep is underway. We just received 2000 L of heating oil (which should see us through to our hopeful heat pump installation next year).
The gardening tools are getting cleaned up and ready to put away and swapped out for ice chippers, snow blowers, and shovels. The apples are ready to be picked and that'll be my afternoon project (with the weekend being washing, peeling, coring, and slicing to make apple hand pies for the freezer).
The big bathtub is getting cleaned out and the various "I overdid it" bath salts and oils are getting staged around as appropriate.
Next up: IKEA order, seasonal clothes wash and swap, staging the workshop/shed for winter use.
