Linogravure finale d'une femme assise sur un tronc qui joue une sorte de guitare, entourée de végétations et d'oiseaux.

J'ai passé mon enfance à tout regarder : des mares où grandissaient têtards et larves aquatiques, aux grandes vagues salées sous lesquelles se cachaient crabes, poulpes et poissons argentés. Je jouais à la pétanque avec des cloportes, faisais la course aux criquets, dénichais mantes religieuses, couleuvres et autres bestioles mal-aimées. (devinez dans quelle team j'étais pendant ma scolarité)

Je vis en ville depuis longtemps et j'ai bien râlé de n'avoir plus que du gris à contempler. Mais depuis bientôt deux ans je traîne pas mal au parc d'à côté, avec une petite personne qui me réapprend à regarder très en l'air et très par terre. Moi qui me languissais de ne pas être plus souvent au vert, j'ai commencé à suivre ces grands yeux tout frais fascinés par les pigeons, les mouches et les cailloux. Mon regard s'exerce à prendre en compte tout ce qui vit et bouge autour, sans trier le banal de l'extraordinaire, et c'est comme ça que j'ai commencé à voir plein d'autres choses pas du tout grises. Qu'on a entendu chanter des merles et remarqué l'arrivée des crocus ou des violettes... C'est comme ça que dans les prémices de l'hiver, on a guetté ensemble le départ des oiseaux migrateurs dans les silences piquants d'octobre, et c'était au moins aussi fantastique qu'un carré de forêt grouillant de vie.

Cette semaine, alors que la saison froide s'en va doucement, j'ai terminé cette illustration qui a pris le temps d'hiberner depuis son premier jet griffonné un soir d'automne.
Et demain, on ira sûrement encore compter les pigeons et les moineaux du parc, chercher des coccinelles et ramener cent cailloux qu'on perdra en route ou sous les meubles, et c'est déjà super cool finalement.

En fin d'année j'ai eu la joie d'illustrer les vœux de la mairie du 3ème @mairie3lyon ! C'était une commande toute particulière et assez différente puisque j'ai retrouvé mes gouges et mon rouleau pour créer une linogravure en trois couleurs. J'ai adoré faire ce pas de côté pour dessiner quelque chose de plus minimal, mon carnet s'est rempli de plantes au trait et j'ai retrouvé le plaisir du papier.
