Second night of playing solo #WondrousCreatures This time I beat Lazy Tingent pretty handedly. It might be time to step it up a notch. Macus definitely had a better player power than Samuel, who I used last night.

Finished up my first true solo #game of #WondrousCreatures. I really enjoyed how the automa plays and it didnt take a ton of overhead. I lost by 10 points against Lazy Tingent but I am looking forward to improving my scores and learning to be a little more efficient during my turns.

I played a 2h #solo #game of #WondrousCreatures to learn it. Lots of fun. I like that the #WorkerPlacement aspect is a different take on the regular mechanic. Next time I will play the proper solo version.

Material und Optik sind herausragend. #WondrousCreatures selbst spielt sich rund und eignet sich als Gatewayspiel, aber die Entscheidungen waren für mich recht offensichtlich und ich hatte das Kartenglück auf meiner Seite. Richtig spannende Mechanismen waren für mich leider nicht dabei. #Brettspiele

WONDROUS CREATURES is a very similar collect-resources-to-buy-cards game, but is slightly simpler.

You place workers on a hex grid, collect the resources from neighbouring hexes, and spend them to acquire creatures. Creatures might give you points immediately, or grant end-game points for collecting creatures of a particular type or sets of them.

The production is the star here: each card has different, original art; the meeples are long sinuous creatures, and you have a captain who can sit atop one of them. (4/n)

Aktuell sind wir noch optimistisch, dass das auch beides in 2024 erfolgen wird. Bei der deutschen Version von Wondrous Creatures besteht allerdings das Risiko, dass es sich nach 2025 verschieben kann.
