Una vez al año, las plataformas descorren un poquito la cortina que oculta al Mago de Oz y revelan uno de los puntos de información que han pillado observándonos. Lo llaman #Wrapped o similar. Y suele ser inofensivo. Un honest wrapped sería menos amable, y más realista.

Side note: all of these things that are aping #SpotifyWrapped put together video-based presentations, but don't give you an option to save the video presentation. At best, you get buttons to save screen captures. It's so fucking duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuumb.

Initially, I was like, "I don't feel like I've listened to all that much YouTube music?" But, then again, whenever we leave the house, I have my smart speakers play music (to help reduce dogs' anxiety while we're gone). The default music-source for my Google-powered speakers is GoogleMusic. While I used to be able to specify an artist to base the streaming on, Google made that a paid feature a couple years ago. So, what plays is what plays (unless streaming from another app on my phone). So, that presumably explains the breakdown?

…But, really, this is what, and how long, my dogs listened to this year.

A friend shared this with me. She has applied for over 500 jobs on LinkedIn this year, she said, but she did not connect with any new contacts or make or interact with any posts. “I’m only on here because you have to be. It’s where all the job posts are,” she said. “I don’t go to LinkedIn to SOCIALIZE.”
